What is a Bayesian network?

A Bayesian network is a mechanism, which visualizes through network diagrams and probabilities the phenomena that occur while “cause” and “effect” influence one another, by combining a plurality of relationships between “causes” and “effects.”
For example, since there are many uncertain factors in a person’s behavior (buying, withdrawal, visiting a site and clicking, etc.), it is difficult to express this only with simple rules such as “if A then B.” However, with the use of probabilistic reasoning it is possible to describe the gray areas that cannot be expressed with simple rules, thereby making more accurate predictions possible.
