transcosmos Starts an Internal Certification System in the Area of Knowledge Management/Social Media Service

transcosmos inc. (Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; President and COO: Masataka Okuda; TSE First Section: 9715; hereafter, transcosmos) has introduced two types of internal certification systems in the areas of knowledge management/social media services.

Knowledge management specialist is a certification system for those employees who possess a series of know-how and skills pertaining to knowledge management, from call/email-log analysis duties to FAQ contents analysis and productions. The certification holders provide services to the corporate clients such as preparation of FAQ, which is Q & A and trouble shooting, utilizing RightNow, a system for multi-channel contact centers, as knowledge management specialists.

On the other hand, social listening specialist is a certification system for personnel with know-how and skills to collect and analyze the buzz data on various social media such as Facebook, Twitter, mixi, and Google+. The certification holders offer the corporate clients such services as establishing crawling word and listening period and data collection with HootSuite, a social media management tool, as social listening specialists.

Over 40 employees now hold these certifications, and transcosmos intends to encourage its employees to obtain these certifications, so that services that take advantage of this certification could also be offered at other centers as well.
