Mitsubishi Estate-Simon and transcosmos Announce the Implementation of “OFFERs,” an Omni-Channel Marketing App to Be Used at Nine Premium Outlets® throughout Japan

“OFFERs” Enhances Communication for Ever-Increasing Smartphone Users with Electronic DM and Push Notifications

On March 18, 2015, Mitsubishi Estate-Simon Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Chief Executive Officer: Takuro Yamanaka; hereafter, Mitsubishi Estate-Simon) and transcosmos inc. (Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; President and COO: Masataka Okuda; TSE First Section: 9715; hereafter, transcosmos) will implement “OFFERs,” an Omni-Channel marketing tool for Smartphone applications (hereafter, Smartphone app) for Premium Outlets® managed by Mitsubishi Estate-Simon.

Mitsubishi Estate-Simon offers a Smartphone app “PREMIUM OUTLET SHOPPING® NAVI” which allows users to search store directories at all the nine Premium Outlets®, sales and product information, floor map, etc. seamlessly and makes their shopping experience even more convenient. Since Premium Outlets® are distant from the metropolitan areas, there is a strong need for websites and apps for prior research, and the app was downloaded in excess of 530,000 times as of March 2015, increasing approximately by 10,000 downloads every month.

In order to reinforce communication with and improve service for Smartphone app users, who are expected to continue to increase, Mitsubishi Estate-Simon and transcosmos will be delivering electronic DM with exclusive sales campaign information which were previously limited to e-mail magazine members of Premium Outlets®. In addition, Mitsubishi Estate-Simon and transcosmos will promote purchase and visits with push notifications as well.

In the future, Mitsubishi Estate-Simon and transcosmos are scheduled to conduct users analysis through advanced analysis functions of OFFERs; and are also scheduled to offer new hospitality services to make shopping experience more enjoyable.

About Omni-Channel marketing tool OFFERs

OFFERs is a marketing software capable of one-on-one offer (coupon/recommendations) delivery, management, and analysis which was developed by Leonis & Co. and distributed by transcosmos. By implementing OFFERs, time, offer, data analysis utilizing the contents of the app, location information, and membership/POS, etc. can be consolidated per each individual, so an advanced Omni-Channel analysis with purchase information added becomes possible.
