(Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Ken Honda; hereafter, FreakOut) have paired up OFFERs, which is offered by a transcosmos subsidiary Leonis & Co. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Partners: Keiji Ito and Matsutomo Uenishi), a private DMP “Mother” offered by FreakOut, and DSP (Demand Side Platform) “FreakOut” to start delivery of targeting advertisement utilizing data such as access to the brick-and-mortar stores, history of coupon usage, and history of application views.

With the domestic SmartPhone popularity and SmartPhone usage time have increased significantly, and opportunities to obtain data not only online but offline increased, expanding the possibility of realizing marketing measures to fit each company’s own users better.

This collaboration of “OFFERs” and FreakOut DMP/DSP would allow consolidation of offline data (access to brick-and-mortar stores, coupon usage history, visits to events, starting applications, page views, and purchase history, etc.) with online data (behavior history on the websites and outside audience data, etc.) in order to be utilized on DSP “FreakOut,” making it possible to deliver more personalized advertisement to each individual.

Through this, the most appropriate advertising contents to match the users’ online and offline behavior history can be delivered, such as advertisement promoting new application download, advertising promoting usage of the downloaded applications for those users with less usage frequency of those downloaded applications, and advertising promoting those who have merely viewed the coupons but not yet have used them.

DSP is a platform to make real-time judgments as to how beneficial the available advertising display opportunity (= Impression) out of a vast inventory of advertisement spots is and to purchase only the necessary impressions for the advertisers at appropriate pricing by the interacting audience auctioning at an appropriate price, therefore maximizing the advertising effects for the advertisers (purchasers).
DSP “FreakOut” has been on the market since 2010 as Japan’s first DSP and has been used for various purposes from brand recognition promotion to sales promotion.
