transcosmos Develops an Advertising Creative Producing Method “Gorilla” that Applies Psychology for Enhancement of Ad Operation Services

(Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; President and COO: Masataka Okuda; TSE First Section: 9715; hereafter, transcosmos) has developed “Gorilla” advertising creative producing method applies psychology to improve advertising effectiveness for enhancement of creative producing servicesof Ad Operations.

By in-feed ads and native ad are in a same content on the timeline of media, it is more important to optimize advertising bid and operations and improve advertising creative performance such as Banners and Landing Pages countinuously.

Last year, transcosmos launched a professional team called “Marketing Psychology Lab” (Representative: Yuichi Shiroshita) to research the application of psychology for advertising creative. The objective of this lab is to improve advertising effectiveness and UI/UX enhancement for websites. “Gorilla”,which is an advertising creative producing method, is not depended on the “intuition and experience” of designers and planners, but on the method to produce creative content logically by using a variety of psychological approaches. By studding the elements such as catch copies and graphic designs which elicit customers’ response easiliy depending on their psychological state with banners and landing pages, it does not only motivate the customers’ interest and purchase mind, but also increases leads to promotion of Web page browsing and purchase behavior as a result.

In fact, as a result of producing and operating the creative content for in-feed ads with “Gorilla,” there are the cases in which Click-Through Rate (CTR) has been improved by 20% on average, and also the instances of reducing the Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) to 1/3 while doubling the conversion rate (CVR).

transcosmos will provide advertising creative producing using “Gorilla” to 60 companies during 2016 fiscal year.
