transcosmos Releases “Contact-Link for V-IVR”, a Smartphone Optimized Visual IVR Service

As over 90% of people in their 20’s now use smartphones, more and more consumers expect businesses to provide customer support service that provides self-support solution and text communication service via chat and LINE on their smartphones, in addition to the traditional services such as voice guidance and operators.

To serve those smartphone users, transcosmos developed visual IVR service “Contact-Link for V-IVR”, a smartphone optimized customer support website. The website provides users with all information they need, FAQs and other optional features such as call center wait-time display, call-back reservation, and contact channels including call, chat, LINE and text form. With this service, businesses can not only solve users’ complains on traditional voice guidance service, but also decrease incoming calls to call centers as more users can solve the issues they face by themselves.

“Contact-Link for V-IVR” does not require huge renovation work on the contact center infrastructure and provides client companies with flexibility to choose optional features according to their specific requirements. The service is quick to implement and affordable, compared to other general visual IVR services.
