transcosmos inc. (Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; President and COO: Masataka Okuda) held a signing ceremony of the agreement with Nagasaki Prefecture and Oita City regarding the opening of its new service center, “BPO Center Sasebo,” on November 22, 2018. The new center is scheduled to launch operations from January 2019.

Nagasaki Prefectural Governor and Sasebo City Mayor made the following remarks at the signing ceremony held on November 22, 2018.

Mr. Hodo Nakamura, Nagasaki Prefectural Governor commented;
“transcosmos opened “BPO Center Nagasaki” in 2015 and received naming rights of Nagasaki Athletic Stadium, that current name is “transcosmos Stadium Nagasaki,” in 2016. For these reasons, Nagasaki citizens feel an affinity for transcosmos. Now, we are honored to have “BPO Center Sasebo” that will create 400 new job opportunities over the next 3 years. I would like to extend our sincere appreciation to transcosmos for actively hiring new university and high school graduates at BPO Center Nagasaki so far, and for opening the new center in Sasebo City which will further help the expansion of employment opportunities for young generations to stay and work in their prefecture. We would like to express our deep gratitude for its generous support.”

We understand that it is critical to fully prepare for a successful launch, and so we will offer as much support as possible including staffing and other operational support, together with the Prefecture.”
