(Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; President and COO: Masataka Okuda) is honored to announce that the company signed an “Agreement on cooperation between Ichikawa City and transcosmos inc.” (hereinafter this Agreement) with Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture (Mayor of Ichikawa City: Hirotami Murakoshi).

This Agreement is designed to develop local community and improve services for the citizens of Ichikawa by driving collaborative activities that make the most of their respective resources.

transcosmos has an extensive record in providing BPO services as well as commissioned system/app development and operations services to municipalities and government ministries and agencies. Ichikawa City has been recognizing the importance of operations with digital transformation in the governmental agencies. By taking the opportunity of opening transcocmos’s operations center in May 2018 in Ichikawa City, both parties had multiple discussions and ultimately led to this Agreement. Through this collaboration with information and communications technology, transcosmos and Ichikawa City aims to increase the efficiency and convenience of life for Ichikawa citizens whilst facilitating communication between the city government and its citizens.
