Optimizes and streamlines conformity assessment and documentation processes

transcosmos inc.
transcosmos inc. (Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; President and COO: Masataka Okuda) developed and released a technical assessment platform for the manufacturing industry to obtain required certifications.
The assessment processes that manufacturers and others must go through in order to manufacture and sell their products are critical not only for them to show that their products comply with specified standards but also mitigate social risks that may occur in case of any trouble that arises from their products. However, the process puts a huge burden on manufacturers as it requires high expertise to receive certification, standards change frequently, and laws and regulations differ by region.
In order to streamline the assessment processes and shorten the time to obtain certification, transcosmos has developed a platform which has standardized compliance criteria in place. With this platform, transcosmos will automate operations required to collect information, assess conformity and develop application. Moreover, the company has partnered with “Finetech Offices of Law” and “administrative lawyer corporate aisupport general legal affairs office” that both have deep insight and an abundant record in the area of technical assessment in order to deliver sophisticated services.
As a first step, transcosmos releases the platform in the “Security Export Control” area in the export control processes and will gradually expand the areas of service into environmental regulations, etc.
With this platform, transcosmos will contribute to clients in boosting their competitive strengths by accelerating product rollout by reducing time to obtain certification whilst allowing them to reallocate their staff who currently work on assessment processes on to core business tasks so that clients can secure staff in a market that is facing more sever hiring difficulties than ever before.
