transcosmos inc. (Representative Director, Co-presidents: Koichi Iwami, Masaaki Muta) is proud to announce that as many as 1,422 company employees have been appointed Digital Promotion Members by the Digital Agency.

With the aim of creating a People-Friendly Digital Society where no one will be left behind, the Digital Agency has been carrying out initiatives to create an environment where every member of Japanese society can enjoy the benefits of a digital society, and has been providing meticulous support for people who are not used to digital equipment and services. In collaboration with the national and local governments, as well as private businesses and organizations, the agency has positioned persons who engage in digital-related businesses and initiatives Digital Promotion Members, and has been recruiting up to 20,000 members from a diverse range of fields across Japan.

In support of the agency’s initiative, transcosmos has run a Digital Promotion Member posting, targeting a wide audience. 1,422 employees from all over Japan applied for the post, and received an appointment letter from the Digital Minister on September, 30, 2022.

As a Global Digital Transformation Partner, transcosmos has been assisting both businesses and governments in boosting customer experience (CX) at ever-diversifying touchpoints with customers and citizens via digital technology. In addition, as an outsourcing services player, transcosmos has been executing initiatives using its service models powered by digital technology. Highly regarded for its contribution to Japanese society in driving digital transformation, transcosmos was named a Noteworthy Digital Transformation (DX) Company 2022 by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in June, 2022.
